Ambassador of Uzbekistan Abat Fayzullayev met with the Foreign Policy Advisor to the President of Austria Gerda Vogl.

The parties discussed promising directions for the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Austria in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

The Austrian side was informed about the modern processes taking place in Uzbekistan, in particular, the implementation of large-scale reforms and the implementation of Constitutional reform.

The Advisor noted that in recent years, cooperation between the two countries has reached a new level, and the interest of Austrian business circles in expanding activities in Uzbekistan is growing.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on organizing a visit of an Austrian business mission to Uzbekistan and holding a business forum.
