An agreement has been reached between JSC Uzbekneftegaz and Malaysia’s Universiti Teknologi Petronas to organize specialized training courses for workforce development.

Under the signed agreement, starting from 2025, 20 promising young specialists will undergo annual training at the university. Ten will pursue a bachelor’s degree in “Oil and Gas Engineering and Geology”, while the other ten will earn a master’s in “Drilling, Oil and Gas Engineering, and Geology”. Uzbekneftegaz will fully fund the educational program.

Additionally, 37 specialists will complete professional development courses in Malaysia this year.

It is planned that a total of 80 specialists will participate in the program between 2025 and 2031.
