A tripartite Action Plan was signed between the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States, the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Culture and Sport of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On 3-4 October 2022, with the support of the OTS Secretariat in Turkestan, in the presence of representatives of the ministries of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan responsible for the tourism sector, as well as with the participation of travel companies, a forum was held on the implementation of the “Tabarruk Ziyorat” project.

The event was organized to ensure the implementation of the resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to accelerate the development of cooperation with the Turkic states in tourism” of July 29, 2022. The signed document is a logical continuation of this process. It provides for the development of tourism programs that increase the flow of tourists between the two countries, the establishment of information exchange between travel companies.

It is also planned to develop proposals for the systemic placement of information about the tourism potential on a special platform, the creation of additional conditions for tourists at border crossing points, as well as an increase in the number of buses from Turkestan to Tashkent.

Representatives of the tourism sector of Uzbekistan were invited to the meeting of member countries and observers of the OTS, which will be held in Kazakhstan in October. The Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan expressed its readiness to support all projects of the OTS Secretariat aimed at developing culture and tourism among the member states and observer countries of the organization.
