On 4-15 July this year, Teramo (Italy) hosted the 50th Interamnia World Cup.

Junior and men’s and women’s teams from 46 countries fought for victory.

Notably, in this tournament, two teams – RKOR from Tashkent and AMMC from the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Company – defended the country’s honor. In particular, the AMMC team led by coach Hasan Qayumov won an absolute victory among athletes aged 21 and older.

On the way to victory, Uzbekistan’s representatives beat such teams as Tsinghua University (China), INDIA HHC (India), Crea El Harrouch (Algeria), Madagaskar J.A.P. (Madagascar), Cus Unite Lions Teramo (Italy), Turan S.C. (Kazakhstan), Veteran Hammamet (Tunisia), Taiwan University (Taiwan) and Nady Shahab Azoun (Palestine).
