In the first quarter of 2023, the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex achieved high results in the export of its products. In January-March 2023, the plant exported products worth $174.7 million. The plan was fulfilled by 100.4 percent.

In the context of products in the first quarter, 12.9 thousand tons of copper products and 8.2 thousand tons of zinc were sent abroad. Planned tasks for the export of rhenium, copper sulfate, molybdenum, and tungsten have also been fulfilled.

Last year the geography of exports was expanded. Products worth $14.3 million were exported to new markets in Spain, Austria, Germany, Finland, Canada, South Africa and Senegal.
