Amity University will open its branch in Tashkent in 2019

A delegation led by the Chancellor of India’s Amity University Atul Chauhan visited Uzbekistan on November 17-19. The Chancellor noted that the University will open its branch in Tashkent in 2019.

A delegation led by the Chancellor of India’s Amity University Atul Chauhan visited Uzbekistan on November 17-19. The Chancellor noted that the University will open its branch in Tashkent in 2019.

The guests visited the Westminster International University in Tashkent, where they became familiar with conditions created at the university, practical results of activities carried out in the country on reforming the education system.

In international rankings of the Times Higher Education and QS Ranking, Amity University is one of the thousand most prestigious universities in the world, in the Asian region it is one of the 300 leading universities.

The main campus of Amity is located in the city of Noida. There are also 11 campuses of the university in India, and 12 in foreign countries. More than 150 thousand students study in more than 300 education programs of information technology, finance, justice, economics and other fields.

Members of the delegation attended the first International Investment Forum in Tourism sphere, in Tashkent.
