The American Resource Center has been established at the Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh in cooperation with the U.S. Embassy in Uzbekistan.

At the opening ceremony of the center, the Rector of the Karakalpak State University, Professor A. Reymov and the Country Director at American Councils for International Education William O'Roark spoke about the prospects for cooperation with higher education institutions of the Aral Sea region, in particular with the Karakalpak State University.

It was noted that the American Resource Center will provide students with an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and expand their horizons in a real language environment.

Following the event, a Cooperation Agreement was signed between the Karakalpak State University and the representative office of the American Councils for International Education in Uzbekistan.
