U.S. media representatives, who arrived in Uzbekistan, are getting acquainted with the sights of Fergana region and the work being carried out to develop the region.

Margilan is one of the tourist centers of Fergana region. The national applied art of this city has always been famous all over the world. The Artisans Center created here serves to increase the tourism potential of the ancient and eternally young city. The guests got acquainted with the process of work of artisans, which aroused genuine interest in them.

The guests watched with delight the process of creating national fabrics – atlas and adras – in the center, which is led by a skilled craftsman Ibrokhimjon Sultonov.

Deputy Hokim of the region Khurshid Akhmedov informed the guests about the national handicrafts of Margilan and the tourism potential of Fergana region.

Indeed, the products manufactured in the center are of high quality. That is why the demand for it is very high. Carpets produced here are mainly exported to Türkiye, satin and adras fabric – to the United States, Italy, France, Russia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan.
