Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with a delegation led by the President of the Utah Senate Stuart Adams and the President and Board Director for The Stirling Foundation Miles Hansen.

The parties discussed in detail the prospects for American companies’ participation in projects in Uzbekistan and issues of strengthening partnerships in agriculture, tourism, mining, energy, finance, and information technology.

Both parties demonstrated their commitment to actively attract American companies to the Uzbekistan market, agreeing to take additional measures following the event.

It should be noted that Mr. Miles Hansen visited Uzbekistan in December 2023. At that time, he expressed interest in financing the equipping of schools with computers, organizing English language teaching, supporting the activities of special schools for people with disabilities, and implementing other socially oriented projects.
