JSCB Microcreditbank hosted an event to discuss the Draft Constitutional Law “On introducing amendments and addenda to the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan”.

It was attended by the leadership and employees of the bank, as well as representatives of its regional main departments.

At the event, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Gulnora Marufova spoke about the amendments and additions made to the Basic Law. It was noted that more than 60 thousand proposals received by the Constitutional Commission over the past month once again vividly demonstrated the practical results of the policy of openness and transparency implemented in Uzbekistan.

Gulnora Marufova said that the draft law provides for the introduction of more than 200 amendments to 64 articles of the Constitution, as well as 16 new norms.

It was emphasized that the amendments to the Basic Law are based on the principle of “person – society – state”, reflect the national constitutional identity and provide for fundamental changes in all sections of the current Constitution.

During the discussions, JSCB Microcreditbank employees expressed their opinions and suggestions regarding the amendments to the Constitution.
