Ambassadors of Uzbekistan to Iran, Kuwait, Pakistan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Japan arrived in Namangan region on a working visit.

At the regional hokimiyat, the ambassadors met with officials from the investment and foreign trade sectors. The diplomats summed up the results of the activities carried out with the participation of the countries in which they work, agreed on necessary measures to accelerate the implementation of joint projects and agreements.

In 2021, 465 exporting enterprises of Namangan region exported 67 types of industrial and fruit and vegetable products to 52 countries of the world. The total export volume amounted to $464 million.

An expo center is planned to be created in Namangan in 2022 to further expand the export opportunities of the region, promote and hold regular presentations of products of local manufacturers.

The ambassadors are also getting acquainted with the results of practical work carried out in the cities and districts of Namangan region.
