The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan Takashi Hatori and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Palestine Jawad Mohammed Awad, who are concluding their diplomatic missions in Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.
At the meeting with the Japanese diplomat, the parties noted the steady development and strengthening of the strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Japan, as well as the expansion of practical cooperation in the trade, economic, investment, educational, and cultural spheres. The Minister expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for his active efforts in strengthening bilateral relations.

During the meeting with the Ambassador of Palestine Jawad Mohammed Awad, Mr. Saidov highlighted his personal contribution to the development of relations between Uzbekistan and Palestine and strengthening friendship between the peoples of the two countries.
Bakhtiyor Saidov emphasized that Uzbekistan consistently supports the implementation of the principle of “two states for two nations” within the framework of the relevant UN resolutions.
The Minister wished both diplomats success in their future professional endeavors.
