The Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Japan Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov met with the State Minister of Defense of Japan Yasuhide Nakayama.

The parties discussed issues of modern development and prospects of Uzbekistan – Japan cooperation in defense. The priority directions of mutually beneficial cooperation were considered.

The sides also considered the situation in Afghanistan. Views were exchanged on the current issues on the international agenda.
