Ambassador of Uzbekistan presents credentials to the President of Iran

The newly appointed Ambassador of Uzbekistan Fariddin Nasriyev presented his credentials to the President of Iran Ebrahim Raisi.

The President of Iran warmly congratulated the diplomat on the official start of his work in this country and noted with satisfaction that over the past two years, relations between Iran and Uzbekistan have consistently developed in all directions and reached a new level.

Thanks to the political will, practical efforts, and established trust-based dialogue at the highest level, a powerful impetus has been given to the further development of bilateral partnership.

“We have a huge potential for enhancing trade relations, strengthening cooperation in the economic sphere and implementing specific projects, increasing the volume of cargo transportation and transit. Soon, we need to use all opportunities to increase mutual trade and bring its volume to $1 billion”, the President of Iran noted.

The President of Iran wished the Ambassador of Uzbekistan great success in his responsible and honorable work and expressed confidence in further improving relations between the two countries and peoples.
