Ambassador of Uzbekistan Feruza Makhmudova has met with the President of Israel Academy of Sciences and Humanities Nili Cohen.

The parties discussed promising areas of Uzbekistan – Israel cooperation in the scientific field. In particular, the Israeli side expressed its readiness to develop bilateral cooperation with the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan in exact, natural, social and humanitarian sciences.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on development of direct dialogue between the academies of sciences of Uzbekistan and Israel, including the implementation of joint research projects in areas of mutual interest.
