The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhuja Abdurakhmonov held talks with the leadership of Japan International Trainee and Skilled Worker Cooperation Organization (JITCO).

At the meeting, it was noted that Japanese employers are showing great interest in large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in labor migration.

In this regard, the expediency of accelerating the implementation of the system of hiring foreign labor resources with the status of “specially qualified workers”, signed between the governments of Uzbekistan and Japan in December 2019, was emphasized.

Following the talks, an agreement was reached on holding joint presentations on the reforms carried out by the Government of Uzbekistan in the state regulation of employment and external labor migration.
