At the meeting with the regional khokim Shukhrat Ganiyev, it was noted that the results of bilateral relations between Uzbekistan and the United States are also reflected in development of Fergana region. The Ambassador got acquainted with socio-economic reforms carried out here, the construction and landscaping activities. Khokim spoke about the ongoing transformations in all areas, the investment potential of the region.

The delegation also visited “Muruvvat” house in the city of Fergana and Fergana State University.

Ceremony of awarding the symbolic certificate of international organization “Resource and Police Exchange” for social institutions for soups of dried vegetables, fortified with vitamins was held at “Muruvvat” house within the framework of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) program “Food for Peace”. 

Guests got acquainted with the activities of the institution, conditions created for children.
