Almost 12% more fish were caught in Uzbekistan in the first half of the year
In January-June, 41,630 tons of fish were caught in Uzbekistan or 111.9% of the corresponding period of 2021.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the largest volume of fish caught was recorded in farms – 19,697 tons, or 47.3% of the total volume of its catch. Low volumes were observed in personal subsidiary farms – 2852 tons (6.9%).
