Almond orchard in Bostanlyk district
According to the relevant order of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, targeted programs have been formed in all ministries and agencies, regions, districts, mahallas, and social facilities to systematically and efficiently organize activities for planting seedlings. In particular, measures are being implemented to plant 17.5 thousand seedlings in the autumn-spring period.
In this regard, Uzbekistan Airports JSC was allocated a plot of land in Bostanlyk district of Tashkent region, where the company’s employees and Burchmulla forestry specialists, planted an almond orchard.
According to the concluded contract with forestry, 3,000 seedlings will be planted in the designated area. A plan for caring for the trees in the new garden is also being developed.
Of course, the almond tree was not chosen by chance. Planting drought-resistant crops plays an important role in mountain and forest reclamation processes, which will positively impact the country’s ecology and climate.
