On July 23, Almaty hosted the 86th Meeting of the Government delegations of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in Joint Uzbekistan – Kazakhstan Demarcation Commission.

On July 12-23, the parties continued to prepare the final documents for the demarcation of the interstate border, as well as the draft Agreement between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan on the demarcation of the Uzbekistan-Kazakhstan State border.

The next meeting is scheduled for September in Uzbekistan.

The previous meeting was held on June 21-25 in Tashkent.
