A particular attention in the process of broad reforms, carried out under the leadership of President Islam Karimov, is paid to the issues of studying and wide dissemination of the works of poets and writers, who have made a huge contribution to developing national literature, revering their legacy

The resolution of the head of our state "On commemorating the 100th anniversary of the national poet of Uzbekistan Zulfiya" date from 31 October 2015 has been another acknowledgement of high artistic value of the creative works of the poetess, who glorified the love to the Motherland, dedication and fidelity, her exemplary life and public acitivities, her huge contribution into the development of national literature and culture, improving the people's spirituality.

"Sadoqat" opera, presented at the Alisher Navoi State Academic Grand theatre of Uzbekistan has been the logical continuation of this noble deed.

– Mainly we have used the poems of Zulfiya in the opera, devoted to her legacy, the author of the opera R.Abdullaev said.– The performance demonstrates love, devotion, the purest feelings of Uzbek women in the example of the life and creative works of our poetess.

A musical director and conductor is distinguished arts worker of Uzbekistan Fazliddin Yoqunjonov, director - people's artist of Uzbekistan Firuddin Safarov.
