Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Uzbekistan Alisher Abdusalomov presented his credentials to the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol. The ceremony took place within the framework of an official meeting at which the current state and prospects of multifaceted cooperation between the two countries were discussed.

The President of the Republic of Korea noted the Ambassador’s important role in organizing key events scheduled for 2025 and stressed the need to maintain a constant dialogue between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea. He wished Alisher Abdusalomov success in his responsible mission to strengthen bilateral relations.

Ambassador Alisher Abdusalomov arrived in Seoul on August 29, 2023, replacing Vitaly Fen, who headed the Embassy of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Korea from 1995 to 2024, with short breaks.
