The meeting between the First Deputy Speaker of the Legislative Chamber Akmal Saidov and the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Uzbekistan Tilo Klinner was held at the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Development of cooperation at the level of the parliaments of the two countries, the establishment of contacts between research institutes under the parliaments were discussed.

The parties noted the role of further building up and deepening inter-parliamentary ties in enhancing cooperation on a wide range of issues of mutual interest.

Following the meeting, the participants confirmed the parliaments’ commitment to strengthening relations in every possible way and spoke in favor of practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Germany.
