Professor of the National Archaeological Center of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan Abdulhamid Anarbayev has been conducting archaeological excavations in Akhsikent, which dates back almost 3 thousand years, for 40 years.

The album book “Akhsikent Archaeological Park” results from many years of work by the scientist. The presentation took place in the cultural center of Turakurgan district in Namangan region. At the event, with the participation of scientists, writers, and youth representatives, the importance of studying the history and heritage of our great ancestors was discussed. Akhsikent’s value as a unique center of culture, crafts, industry, and science was noted.
