Akca Holding plans to create textile production in Namangan

One of the largest companies in Türkiye, Akca Holding, has expressed its readiness to implement an investment project in the textile industry worth $250 million in Uzbekistan’s Namangan region.

This was stated at the meeting of the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade Jamshid Khodjayev with a member of the Board of Directors of Akca Holding Ahmet Bilge Göksan.

The parties discussed manufacturing products from yarn, terry towels, home textiles, knitwear, military uniforms, linen, dyed fabric and other textile products targeted at the markets of the United States, Europe, Brazil, Canada and other countries. The launch of the project at full capacity will create 12-15 thousand new jobs.

In turn, the Uzbek side expressed its readiness to provide comprehensive assistance at all stages of the project, as well as in the process of developing new investment initiatives.
