Following the Olympic cycle, the International Weightlifting Federation announced the list of athletes who will take part in the Paris 2024 Summer Olympics.

Uzbekistan national team members Akbar Jurayev and Rigina Adashbayeva also joined the athletes who will compete at the upcoming Summer Olympics. They will compete for the Olympic medals in the -102 kg and -81 kg weight categories, respectively.

In addition, Akbar Jurayev won gold medals in the weight category up to 109 kilograms at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and the 2021-2023 World Athletics Championships.
