AgroWorld Uzbekistan demonstrates modern technologies

The 17th international exhibition AgroWorld Uzbekistan 2022 has kicked off at the Uzexpocentre in Tashkent.

Over 100 companies from 14 countries, including Austria, Belarus, China, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, the Netherlands, Russia, UK and Uzbekistan are presenting their products and services at the exhibition. 

Agriculture is one of the leading sectors of Uzbekistan’s economy and accounts for almost 28.5 percent of GDP. 4.2 million citizens are working in the sphere.

Deputy Director General of Iteca Exhibitions Oyimkhon Bobojonova noted that the exhibition, which presents the latest examples of modern technologies and agricultural technology for livestock, poultry, veterinary medicine, fruit and vegetable processing, grain storage, greenhouses, is considered a major international event in Uzbekistan’s agricultural sector.

The participation of representatives of the Netherlands in the exhibition increases. There are 10 of them at this event. They are demonstrating equipment for poultry farming, poultry slaughter and processing, egg accumulation, chicken meat processing system, water-saving and resource renewal devices.

Farmers Day was organized on March 17. Meetings were held with the participation of leaders and chief specialists of farms.
