In Uzbekistan, cooperation is being carried out with the French Development Agency to introduce advanced foreign technologies in livestock breeding and processing of livestock products, strengthen the material and technical base of farms and agricultural organizations, and increase their production potential.

The organization provides a loan of 100 million euros for developing the livestock industry in Uzbekistan in 2022-2026.

Representatives of the Council of Farmers, Dehkan Farms and Owners of Household Lands of Uzbekistan and the French Development Agency in Tashkent discussed the implementation of the project “Financing the sustainable development of the livestock sector”, planned for 5 years. The total cost of the project is 147.7 million euros.

“As part of this project, the council will launch several opportunities for the development of animal husbandry”, says T. Sattorov, Deputy Chairman of the Council. – At the same time, the French Development Agency allocated a loan of 15 million euros to 80 farms operating in different regions.

Following the visit, both sides agreed on plans for cooperation in regional training centers for the production of livestock products, their processing, sales in the domestic and foreign markets, and the organization of training courses.
