Agreement reached with Indian colleagues to hold festivals and improve personnel skills

The State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Tourism Development held a meeting with organizers of Surajkund Mela Festival in India.
The parties exchanged experience on holding major events and raising the qualifications of employees. In particular, they learned how to attract participants from foreign countries to the annual festival, funding mechanism and organizational issues.
The parties agreed to cooperate in organizing annual international festival “Silk and Spices” in Bukhara.
The event will be attended by talented craftsmen from Uzbekistan, as well as artists and chefs from Bukhara, Samarkand and Khorezm regions.
