The Youth National team of Uzbekistan celebrated first victory at the 2016 AFC U-19 Championship, which is hosted by Bahrain.

In the championship, divided into 4 groups, teams from 16 countries compete for the victory.The top four teams will qualify for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup, which will be held in South Korea.

The youth national team of Uzbekistan performed in the group D, along with football players from China, Australia and Tajikistan.

The team of our country under the guidance of Jasur Abduraimov held the first match against peers from Tajikistan and beat them with a score of 2:1. Goals were scored by Saidjamol Davlatjonov and Jasur Yahshiboev.

Now our players will play against the youth national team of Australia on 18 October.
