The Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) unites 15 Central Securities Depositories in 14 countries of the Eurasia region. The Association’s mission is to provide a platform for sharing ideas for development and enhancement of depository operations, creating a common depository space, and integrating the CSDs – the AECSD’s members into the global securities settlement system.

The conference is attended by representatives of the central depositories of AECSD participants, international central depositories, securities market regulators, investment banks, SWIFT and rating agencies. The target audience of the conference is representatives of public authorities, international organizations, joint-stock commercial banks, the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Assistance to Privatized Enterprises and Development of Competition, the Center for Coordination and Development of the Securities Market, as well as representatives of professional participants in the securities market.

Innovative approach to business diversification, investors protection issues and asset security were discussed on the first day of the conference.

On the second day, AECSD members will discuss the activities of the Association within the framework of the annual meeting and sum up the results of the past year.
