A press conference devoted to the opening of the Marketing and Advertising Week ADWEEK was held at the National Press Center of Uzbekistan.

The event was organized by “Milliy marketing markazi” ("National marketing center") Enterprises Association jointly with the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Promoting Privatized Enterprises and Development of Competition, State Tax Committee, Ministry for Development of Information Technologies and Communications, Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Intellectual Property Agency and other organizations.

Head of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Promoting Privatized Enterprises and Development of Competition D.Azimov, Chairman of the Board of “Milliy marketing markazi” Enterprises Association D.Mirzaakhmedov, head of “Khisam Communications” Russian company T.Khisamov and others noted the importance of measures implemented in Uzbekistan for development of marketing sphere, in particular advertising, full support of specialists working in this direction, providing them with theoretical and practical assistance.

The traditional Marketing and Advertising Week is a kind of platform for dialogue. It serves as a powerful incentive for uniting specialists in the field of marketing, creation of new brands and marketing projects, development of advertising campaigns.

– Participants of the week exchanged views on advantages of doing business through advertising, legal regulation of national advertising and many other issues, – says head of department of the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Promoting Privatized Enterprises and Development of Competition D.Azimov. – They will also be able to exchange experience with foreign marketing specialists. From this point of view, the week is a unique opportunity for establishing new ties and participating in intellectual debates.

Within the framework of the event, it is also envisaged to hold a marketing conference, marketing and advertising exhibitions, ADWEEK advertising competition and innovative fairs, workshops and panel discussions.
