Additional 1.5 trillion UZS of working capital to be created for entrepreneurs

The Address of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Oliy Majlis continues at the International Congress Hall.

The Central Bank will introduce a draft law on non-banking credit organizations until February 1 to increase competition in the financial market. Experts from the Islamic Development Bank and international financial organizations will be involved in the implementation of Islamic financial services. The share of international bonds in national currency will be increased from the current 25 percent to at least 40 percent.

The state external debt of Uzbekistan is considered safe according to the criteria of the World Bank and International Monetary Fund. Within the framework of public procurement up to 1 billion UZS, the advance payment will be increased to 30 percent and an additional 1.5 trillion UZS turnovers for entrepreneurs will be created.

6 trillion UZS of preferential credits will be allocated next year within the framework of family entrepreneurship programs. $100 million will be directed to expand the entrepreneurship development program in villages.
