Hokim of Bayaut district of Syrdarya region, senator Dilfuza Uralova received the Vice President of Acwa Power (Saudi Arabia) Tom Teerlynck and the Regional Director of the company Soumendra Rout.
At the meeting, the parties discussed all issues related to the joint project for construction of a combined cycle power plant, the delivery of necessary equipment and machinery, the forces and means that will be involved in construction activities, training personnel for servicing the new facility after its commissioning.
The company representatives also emphasized that they intend to provide compensation to legal entities and individuals who previously used the territory transferred for the construction of the station.
Hokim of Bayaut district D. Uralova noted that as a representative of local authorities she is ready to provide any practical assistance in construction of a combined cycle power plant, and that all opportunities will be used to create the necessary conditions.
The parties agreed to implement the project based on mutual cooperation and trust.
