The new structure in parliamentarism of the country – the Institute of Problems of Legislation and Parliamentary Studies has implemented large-scale activities in a short period of its activity. Last year, 64 draft laws, 5 draft resolutions of the Chambers of the Oliy Majlis, 31 draft normative-legal acts, as well as 185 analytical information were developed.

The Institute has signed memorandums of cooperation with research institutions of parliaments of Turkey, Germany, Northern Ireland and Kyrgyzstan.

At the press conference, activities of “Mening fikrim” (My opinion) web portal, for which the institute was appointed, were discussed in detail. Over the past period, more than 190 collective electronic appeals from citizens were posted on this portal. Relevant authorities took appropriate decisions on four of the seven collective appeals that gained a sufficient number of votes.
