Active women awarded badges “Mo’tabar Ayol”

Tashkent hosted a solemn event for awarding the badges “Mo’tabar Ayol” to active women, who made a worthy contribution to the formation and strengthening of the well-being of families, the protection of motherhood and childhood with their effective work.

Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the State Committee for Family and Women Affairs Zulaykho Mahkamova and others noted that showing deep respect for women, facilitating their work, timely and quick resolution of problems and comprehensive support are the priorities of the reforms carried out by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. The creation of the State Committee for Family and Women Affairs was a continuation of this noble work.

This year, the republican commission received 819 documents for awarding the badges. This worthy award was presented to 282 women who rightfully gained authority among those around them, who worked hard in mahallas and across the country.

The badges were presented by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Chairman of the State Committee for Family and Women Affairs Zulaykho Mahkamova and Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis on Women and Gender Equality Malika Kadirkhanova.
