Acting President of the Olympic Council of Asia Raja Randhir Singh arrives in Tashkent

On May 6, Tashkent will host the 77th meeting of the Executive Board of the Olympic Council of Asia and celebrate the 30th anniversary of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan.

Acting President of the Olympic Council of Asia Raja Randhir Singh has arrived in Tashkent to attend the event.

The Minister of Sports Development Adham Ikramov, Vice-President of the Olympic Council of Asia Otabek Umarov, Secretary-General of the National Olympic Committee of Uzbekistan Oybek Qosimov and Deputy Chairman of the Committee Azizjon Komilov met the Acting President of the Olympic Council of Asia at Tashkent International Airport named after Islam Karimov.

The participants of the event will discuss important issues related to the future of sports in the continent, including the Asian Games Hangzhou 2022, and the Shantou 2021 Asian Youth Games.

The agenda of the meeting also includes a draft presentation of the preparation for the IV Asian Youth Games Tashkent 2025.

The event will be attended by representatives of about 30 countries.
