Acquaintance with Uzbekistan heritage at the Gugun Museum
Gugun Museum in Beijing, as part of the Belt and Road Forum, hosts the exhibition “Cooperation in Cultural Heritage and Archeology”.
Visitors will be able to see more than 80 museum exhibits from the People’s Republic of China, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and the United Arab Emirates.

Uzbekistan provided 18 exhibits from the collection of the State Museum of History and the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan. Among them are a pendant with a sculptural image of a sphinx (II-I centuries BC), a fragment of the sculpture “Warrior’s Head” (I century BC – I century AD), a two-handed jug (II- III centuries AD) and other archaeological finds, which are exhibited with the support of the Art and Culture Development Foundation.

According to the Art and Culture Development Foundation, the exhibition will run until January 5, 2024.
