Sharjah hosted an official meeting between representatives of the Art and Culture Development Foundation under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Sharjah Art Foundation.

According to the Art and Culture Development Foundation, a detailed acquaintance of the two organizations took place. The Executive Director of the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan Gayane Umerova and the President and Director of Sharjah Art Foundation Sheikha Hoor Al Qasimi exchanged experience in developing and supporting creative communities.

The parties discussed the possibility of Uzbekistan’s participation in the Sharjah Architecture Triennial, as well as the possibility of supporting young artists from Uzbekistan and the UAE.
