From year to year, the desire of young people to sustainable use the advanced features established in this direction, obtain higher education and become qualified specialists - is intensified. This is confirmed by the annual increase in the number of entrants. According to the State testing center, in 2014 the number of applicants, who submit the documents to the higher educational institutions, exceeded 543,000, in 2015 - more than 605,000 people.

As always, this year the boys and girls who want to pursue higher education, submit the documents to the universities selected by them. All conditions for this have been created to applicants and their parents. In print media of our country and on the websites of universities, applicants can get information about the admission process, testing subjects.

In accordance with the resolution of the President of our country, “On acceptance in the higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in 2016/2017 Academic Year” from May 26, 2016, in all higher educational institutions was conducted appropriate preparation. Acceptance ofapplications started from June 20.

According to the decree of the Head of our state from May 13 this year, was established the Tashkent State University of Uzbek language and literature named after Alisher Navoi, the educational process in which will be initiated from 2016/2017 academic year.

Admission commission of the University works in the building of the academic lyceum under Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent. “Telephone helpline” of the commission operates for reception of citizens’ appeals.

In accordance with the plan of acceptance of applications for this year –to the faculty of the Uzbek philology will be accepted 80 entrants, to the faculty of education Uzbek language and literature – 120, to the faculty of the Uzbek-English translation – 100.

In the Tashkent Medical Academy Admission commission were created information corners, where applicants can get acquainted with the medical higher education institutions and their branches, official documents, relating to the process of acceptance of applications, necessary for the submission, and the procedure for their completion. To effectively organize the acceptance of documents were formed groups of qualified teachers and specialists.

According to the admission commission of the Tashkent Institute of Railway Transport Engineers, this year, 895 entrants will be accepted to baccalaureate.
