At the 4th General Assembly of the Alliance of International Science Organizations (ANSO), held in Beijing, the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan was elected to the Governing Board – the highest executive body of this prestigious organization.

The election of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan marks the recognition of the growing role of national science on the international stage and reflects the high appraisal of the country’s contribution to the development of global scientific cooperation. This achievement underscores the country’s trust in its initiatives in sustainable development, scientific exchange, and support for young researchers.

Following the announcement of the voting results, Vice President of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Professor Sirojiddin Mirzayev, expressed gratitude to ANSO members for their trust. He emphasized that Uzbekistan will continue to actively participate in strengthening scientific ties across Asia and other regions, contributing to the development of science and deepening international scientific and technical cooperation for a sustainable future.
