The 1050th anniversary of the great scientist and thinker Abu Rayhon Beruni’s birth is widely celebrated.

In honor of the memorable date, the Art and Culture Development Foundation of Uzbekistan prepared an international exhibition project “Abu Raihon Beruni. Geographical and Intellectual Journeys”.

The exhibition took place at UNESCO headquarters on 5-8 September 2023.

A 200-page scientific catalog was released for the exhibition’s opening, including articles by leading Uzbekistan and international scientists.

According to ACDF, copies of the catalog were donated to the UNESCO permanent missions worldwide, as well as libraries and research institutes of the country.
