Tashkent hosted the 5th International Scientific and Practical Conference “Abu Ali ibn Sina and innovations in modern pharmaceuticals”.

The event was organized by the Ibn Sina Public Foundation together with the Ministry of Health and Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. It was attended by about 300 leading experts from Germany, Israel, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, China, Malaysia, the Republic of Korea, Russia and Turkey.

Scientific reports of domestic and foreign scientists were heard. A scientific research competition was announced in “Innovations of Ibn Sina”, “Innovations in modern pharmaceuticals” and “Young pharmacist” nominations. Abu Ali ibn Sina Award was established for its winners.
