A photo exhibition of students has been organized at the Academy of Arts of Uzbekistan on the initiative of the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan.

Its goal is to develop photojournalism in Uzbekistan and enrich the media with high-quality photo content.

“Every photographer should be able to determine the essence of reality and aspects of innovation”, says a photojournalism teacher at the University of Journalism and Mass Communications of Uzbekistan, Oqil Gulomov. “You can feel the harmony of reality and artistry in the presented photographs. Aspects of rural and urban life are depicted. Here is a picture of a woman washing clothes in the yard in winter, and here are the feelings of an athlete defeated in a competition or the state of a child who is thirsty in summer”.

The exhibition, which will run until March 27, features 200 works by more than 30 students.
