International grandmasters Abdumalik Abdusalimov and Ortiq Nigmatov defended Uzbekistan’s honor at the 28th edition of the Bavarian International Open in Germany.

According to the results of the competition with a total prize fund of 15 thousand euros, Uzbekistan’s talented chess player Abdumalik Abdusalimov scored 7 points in 9 rounds and took 4th place in additional indicators. As a result, he added 11 points to his rating.

Amin Tabatabaei from Iran became first with 8 points. While Engel Luis from Germany and Gumularz Szymon from Poland took the second and third places with 7 points.
