On October 8, 2021, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the French Republic Aurélia Bouchez, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

Accepting copies of credentials, the Minister congratulated the Ambassador on her appointment to a responsible post and expressed the hope that her professional experience would contribute to bringing Uzbekistan –France relations to an even higher quality level.

Current issues of cooperation, including the implementation of previously reached agreements at various levels, were discussed at the meeting. The sides discussed opportunities for intensifying political dialogue, developing inter-parliamentary contacts, intensifying trade-economic and investment ties, cultural-humanitarian and tourist exchanges.

Views were exchanged on the interaction of the parties within the framework of international and regional organizations.
