Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov has received the Ambassador of Egypt Amani al-Itr.

On November 12, 2020, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt Amani al-Itr, who is completing her diplomatic mission to Uzbekistan, MFA reports.

Current issues of multifaceted Uzbekistan – Egypt cooperation, as well as interaction within the framework of international and regional structures were discussed during the conversation.

The sides expressed their support for implementation of joint projects in trade-economic, investment, tourism, education, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.

Following the meeting, the Minister noted the fruitful nature of Ambassador's activities in Uzbekistan and highly appreciated her contribution to expansion of mutually beneficial bilateral relations.

Amani al-Itr, in turn, expressed her gratitude for assistance in her work as the head of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in Tashkent.
