The parties noted the need for promoting the process of broad national reconciliation and the formation of an inclusive government in Afghanistan, ensuring respect for fundamental human rights and freedoms in the country, and preventing a humanitarian crisis.
The main attention was paid to the development of trade-economic and investment cooperation.
The schedule and organizational aspects of the upcoming joint events, in particular the first meeting of the Strategic Partnership Dialogue, were considered.
Secretary of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Viktor Makhmudov and Minister of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ruslan Davletov took part in the negotiations.
