Abdulaziz Kamilov meets with the Ambassador of Bahrain
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain with a residence in Ankara, Ibrahim Yusuf Al-Abdullah.
On October 3, 2019, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain with a residence in Ankara, Ibrahim Yusuf Al-Abdullah, Uzbekistan MFA reports.
Issues of strengthening Uzbekistan – Bahrain relations both bilaterally and within the UN, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and other international structures were discussed at the meeting.
The parties expressed interest in holding the next round of inter-MFA political consultations, activating the mechanisms to build up trade-economic and investment ties, establishing cooperation between research institutions of the two countries.
Improving the normative-legal base conducive to development of comprehensive cooperation between Uzbekistan and Bahrain was recognized as relevant.
Certain issues of the international and regional agenda were also considered at the meeting.
