On September 6, 2021, a telephone conversation took place between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov and the First Secretary of State and Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom Dominic Raab, Uzbekistan MFA reports.

The parties discussed current issues of the regional and international agenda, as well as the development of bilateral relations.

It was noted that in recent years, cooperation between the two countries has been developing dynamically and has acquired a qualitatively new character.

Views were exchanged on the situation in Afghanistan and assistance to the peaceful political process in that country. Mutual interest was expressed in enhancing cooperation in this direction.
